It's hybrid time!

Hey all!! As promised, I am going to share some Studio J layouts that I added some traditional embellishments to. Sorry it took so long, I've been very busy with school letting out for my boys. Also, please forgive the lighting in the "after" shots, I was not having a good camera day!  LOL

Now the layouts I made in Studio J I purposely made simple so I could add my finishing touches to them. Also, with my traditional embellishments I didn't want to go to overboard so some of them are rather simple as well. But I feel like it shows that sometimes you really only need a little extra really make something shine  :)

So here's the first one...

A little closer...

Just one element added but it really brings attention to the title.

A little bling is always nice  :)

I wanted to have the title dimensional.

And a last one..

It was a lot of fun to experience these layouts in both Studio J and to have them on my worktable while I added some goodies. If you're interested in checking Studio J out you can access it HERE.

Happy Scrapping!

What a great day!!

Hi all! So the workshop went off beautifully!!  There was only one little hitch (an incorrect pre-measured piece of paper, easily rectified) and the rest was smooth scrapping!! Here's a picture of the ladies working on their layouts...

And here are my finished layouts  :)

This is the first time I've used my new scrap space and I think it worked well. I'll post pictures in a couple of weeks of the completely finished end result of the great scraproom switcheroo LOL.

Happy Scrapping!!

Today's the day!

Today is my very first Workshop!! I'm so excited (and a little nervous!). I have several ladies coming whom I've never meet. I'm really looking forward to that because it is always nice to find new people to scrap with. I have to keep this short because I need to run to the store for some yummies for the day, but I will post pictures of the workshop and the projects we make  :)

Happy Scrapping!

You & Me: Stronger Together

Many of you have asked us if there is something we could do to support those affected by recent severe weather in the US, and we’ve also had requests to extend the availability of the You & Me scrapbooking kit offered during the month of May. We’ve combined those two aims into a single campaign called You & Me: Stronger Together, to raise funds for the survivors of the severe storms that have pummeled the Midwest and Southern states.

During the month of June, order a You & Me kit for only $15 US/ $16.50 CAN (a retail value of $34.95/$38.95), and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross 2011 Floods and Tornadoes relief operations. . The You & Me: Stronger Together campaign will continue until June 30 at 11:59 pm (MDT) or while supplies last. CONTACT ME today to order yours!

In other news, I'm still painting my new scrap space. I'm almost done and I'll post pictures soon of the new color :) It's going to be a busy week...I have to get at least half of my supplies moved into my new space.

The Sophia Workshop is this Wednesday at 10 am in my home and I'm so excited about it!! Here is one of the layouts we will be doing...

I have one spot left in the Workshop, so if you want it call me at 331-934-2648
